The Fabulousness of You

March 27, 2010

Elle France March 2010

I love seeing women express their sense of style, and that doesn’t mean they have to be the pin-thin Kate Moss type – any woman with curves, an athletic build, or a willowy shape can dress to kill.  I myself have an hourglass figure that has to be dressed differently than someone who is tall and straight. It took me a few years to figure out what looks best on me and how to highlight my strong points, and I think that is a journey every woman must go on. Once you have been down that road and noticed, “Hey.. I look amazing in this!” or “No.. definitely not for me”, you can start building on all the fabulousness of you!

Embrace your figure and dress it up.

Thank you for showing that a normal sized woman can be stylish, sexy and chic just like any one else. It’s what you wear and how you wear it that matters, not the size of your thighs. Looking forward to the day when this is better understood. And I’m beginning to see glimpses of it here and there.

I’ve put on a few pounds in the last couple of years (I blame it on my wonderful husband… and the amount of time we spend on our couch! lol) I have always loved “dressing up” but in the last couple of years… I’ve kind of got stuck in a jeans and t-shirt rut!

Its inspiring to see a girl that’s not a twig look absolutely beautiful! I’ll looking forward to embracing dressing up again!

    – I know this is a pretty old post by I’ve only just discovered your blog xx
