It is cool.. no matter what people think! Glad you are rockin it!

beth, love your tutorials. so fun!! when skye’s hair is long enough, i’m going to do this bun on both sides so she can be princess leia. ๐
Love it!
Im so inspired to try this out for tomorrow when I go to a cocktail party for my husband’s birthday :- ) just hope I have enough hair ๐
Oh, so excited! Have fun at the party.
love the tutorial and the look. going to try it this weekend for an art opening we are going to. hope my hair is long enough. oh, and question, do you think a girl with slightly big ears (that’d be me!) can pull it off?
Of course! Embrace who you are. Have fun with the look.
I loved this! One of your best hair tutorials yet! I actually did my hair like this a couple weeks ago, but it was in a low side bun over one of my ears. Glad to see some good tips on how to perfect the look. =)

yet another awesome tutorial! i’m going through them right now and finding one to try!!
;]
I already tried it and I love love it! lol thanks for sharing this=)
So fun!! You’ve made it look so easy, I will definitely have to try this sometime! My hairline doesn’t really compliment the slicked back look generally, but maybe such a giant bun would take attention away from my hairline! ๐
Love this look! It looks great and I’m excited to try this some night!
Anyway you could do a tutorial on how to do the Heidi braid that goes on the top of your head? It’s so cute and would love to try and learn it.
I’m new to your blog but you have such a great sense of style–keep up the great work!
Meryn, I will add the Heidi Braids to the list!
As always, a fabulous hair how-to!
I tried this for work today instead of my usual tight bun and got tons of compliments!
Ah! So fun.. glad you wore it to work!
Rocked the Bradshaw bun today. Had a ton of compliments…thanks for sharing.

omigosh, i LOVE this tutorial — the carrie bradshaw poof bun is my fav look and the way i wear it is typically more messy. i am going to go try your tutorial right now!! THANKS SO MUCH!

Hi.. I found you via Pretty Shiny Sparkly,
Love love love this… thanks for sharing! Have always wanted to do the Carrie Bradshaw bun and it looks so much easier than I realised! Will share this on Twitter. x
I love this! GREAT tutorial. Sadly, my hair is too short at the moment to make it work well, but I will definitely be testing it out in a few months (grow, hair, grow)!
