Layered and Kooky Cake

October 18, 2010

(Hat – Vintage, Trench – Target, Necklace – Oh Yeah Make Me, Sweater – Forever21, Pants – Beacon’s Closet, Belt – Vintage, Shoes – Charles David)

I always love a good high waist trouser, and these couldn’t make me happier. The plaid print is bold and called for a bit of mixing it up. So, I went with a little plaid, a little leopard, and a little tweed!

Finishing off the look, I was excited to wear my new necklace from Oh Yeah Make Me – a blend of gold chains, victorian baubles and a sweet feminine bow. It was the icing on the very layered and kooky cake.

I totally love and admire your bold pattern mixing. I’m sure most people couldn’t carry those pants off, but you do so well.
It’s great that you paired such masculine items and made them a bit more feminine with the leopard belt, the loose wavy hair and that necklace (fabulous by the way).
