Miu Miu

(Jacket and Blouse – Vintage, Cargos – Forever21, Shoes – Miu Miu)

In my book, these Miu Miu’s (scored at a thrift store!) are kinda hideously fabulous. I couldn’t resist the fact that they were Miu Miu.. that they had the black cap toe..and look at those heels.. quirky-goodness!

The Miu Miu’s then inspired a 50’s spin on the cargo pant. Suddenly, my cargos were being paired with a polka-dot bow tie blouse and velvet leopard-lined jacket. The final kick in the pants was the cat-eye sunglasses.

Cargos never looked so lady-like.

I love a hideously fabulous shoe!!!! These look great and the fact that they are a fantastically priced pair of Miu Mius is even better. Prada knows how to make a quirky looking shoe, that’s for sure.

I really like your pattern mixing and even though cargos are innately casual, it looks great paired with a bit of fanciness. I’ve been on the hunt for a polka dot blouse and yours is perfect. I had a feeling it would be vintage.

The only thing that would make those shoes better would be four more inches added to the heel, not because I have anything against a “court heel” but because I’m so used to walking in heels, I inevitably always trip when I wear flats. And, you can NOT trip and make a fool of yourself when wearing Miu Miu shoes, that would be like tripping over the hem of an Alberta Ferretti gown…shameful!

p.s. That blazer has the perfect amount of leopard print for a girl like me who pretends she’s daring enough to wear animal print but really is more of a solids kind of girl.

Oh I so love this outfit. I’ve never really ventured into the cargo pant world, but seeing you dress them up like this has left me thinking otherwise!

I’ve been avoiding cargo pants since they were around in the 90’s. I just couldnt shake the image of baggy cargo pants, bikini tops and pink hair!! Though I got these really pretty neutral nude peeptoe wedges from http://www.gostosashoes.com.au and some tight-ish cargo pants from Evil Twin and now I can’t stop wearing them!!
