A FairyTale Come True

November 23, 2010

(Cardi- MNG by Mango JCPenney, Scarf – Stella Dallas NYC, Tank – QSW, Pants & Shoes – Vintage, Leopard Bag – Bday Gift from Patina)

So here is a fun story…

There once was a girl who had a birthday.. a few days before she was out shopping at a local favorite shopping spot and spotted the loveliest bag she had ever seen. It was everything she loved.. but she waited and thought she would return to buy it on her special day.

The day came and she returned with anticipation.. the bag would be hers.. but, alas it was gone and the girl was sad.. that lovely bag had made its way into someone else’s hands.. it wasn’t to be.

The weekend came and she was whisked away to the dreamy town of Santa Barbara. During a dinner with friends a gift was handed to her.. what could it hold.. and there among tissue paper she saw a hint of leopard print fur.. it couldn’t be.. could it?

It was! Her dear friend had remembered her love for the bag.. and had grabbed it from the shelf and now wished a happy birthday with the best gift ever.

The End.

I saw from your tweets that you were at the Canary Hotel for your birthday – isn’t it just the loveliest place?! I stayed there one glorious weekend-away with a former admirer, and try as I might to have moved on, I have never been able to put the weekend at that hotel completely out of my mind. 🙂 Congrats on the birthday and on the bag!
