Summer Staples in Winter

December 29, 2010

(Everything is Thrifted)

This New Frontier has me pulling out my summer staples and layering them up until they work into a winter-y warm creation. The peasant top.. usually worn loose and flowy. is now being tossed over a long sleeve maxi dress, tights and boots.

Loving my adventure in the South!

That blousey peasant top is to DIE for! So pretty!

My problem with doing summer pieces in the winter is that they usually get lost in the layers and layers of other clothes I need to keep warm…oh well šŸ™‚

Wow, the light shines through your blouse gorgeously. That belt is awesome. Isn’t it so satisfying wearing an entirely thrifted outfit?! I think so.

Love that top!! So pretty. Glad you are having such a great time in the South. I’m a Bama girl. It’s been uber cold this week here (im sure you know this)… But, it’s warming up nicely for the NYE celebrations tomorrow. Thankfully. I did not want to wear my sequin dress w/ snow boots again this year!
