The New Maxi Skirt

The holidays are over and now it’s back to work.. spring is around the bend.. but for the time we are living in winter.
It’s a funny season here in California.. not cold enough for loads of layers and not warm enough to explore spring dressing. So it means diving in the wardrobe, looking at everything that has been worn to death and trying to see it in a different light.
My maxi skirt has been worn with sweaters and bohemian flair.. but to change things up I tried a little twist.
It’s a new year….

I love the tones in this outfit, they are all subtle, but still allows the outfit to have a presence.
I have one maxi dress that I’ve been dying to winter-ize, just have to find some really high shoes first. 🙂
I love it, that color palate has been on the top of my list lately, loving olive/army greens and navy. My husband got me a stylit for my stocking this year, I have been loving that as well!
