March 24, 2011

"Floral Hat, Pom Pom, Orange, Spring Trends, Personal Style'"Orange, Orange Dress, Floral Hat, Floral, Spring Trends, Personal Style"(Flower – Michaels, Dress – Thrifted, Clutch – Long Beach Flea Market, Shoes – Aldo)

I’ve been noticing pom poms perched on heads all through fashion week.. and of course.. I love them!

I took inspiration from the pom pom and created a version suitable for spring!

Gorgeous. I have seen so many pretty flowers I want to pop off their plastic stems and glue on a pin or clip in my hair at Michael’s. I sometimes like them better than the fashion pins in stores. That dress is a great color and I like that you have paired it with your nude pumps. I am so ready to try this but it just isn’t warm enough in Cleveland!

Love the way you combined the floral pom pom with that dress. Very vintage and I do believe Carrie Bradshaw is nodding to you right now.

Oh girl every time again, you keep surprising me. I love hat pieces, and I am in love with this one. My wedding bouquet was pretty similar. I had 3 bracelets made of faux flowers. But the color looks amazing, it just makes you glow. That dress is so close to perfection and I adore the black belt. So fabulous with the black clutch. And what a magnificent idea to combine it with nude shoes. this is definitely one of my favorite looks I have seen in a while.

How did you make your flower headpiece? Is it now a headband? Please share! Thanks!🙂

I actually took the stem off and bent back the point, then I took bobby pins and secured it to my head. Super Easy!

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenius! Oh, wow, I’m like, hyperventilating over here. I made myself a giant yarn pom hat this fall, and abolutely adore it, but this spring version is divine! May I steal your DIY idea if I make it in blue and give you a big fat bloggy shout-out?
