The weather is warming up and summer is creeping close – usually this means we should pack away our boots and spend every day in sandals, but this season boots and bare legs are popping up everywhere.

This look is great for spending a day downtown or a weekend getaway in the country.

An easy approach is to pair flat or western-inspired ankle boots with denim shorts and a simple shirt, or take it up a step with a blazer. Personally, I love mixing the look with a sweet skirt or a summer dress – just something unexpected and fun!
